CONGRATULATIONS TO THE BIRMINGHAM MEDICS CYCLISTS
The early May Bank Holiday saw our old friends the Birmingham Medics Cyclists undertake their annual 4 day cycle ride, this time in Northern Italy from Milan to Bologna, a 330 km ride by 62 riders along the valley of the River Po. Once again they chose SPLIT as their charity, making a very generous donation of £5137.
The trustees at SPLIT would like to thank Dr Sunder Ram all the La Strada riders for their kindness, generosity and endeavour.
CONGRATULATIONS TO THE LONDON MARATHON 2026 RUNNERS
Huge congratulations to our marathon runners JAMES BENNETT, MAX HARRIMAN, JEFF POWELL, NICK KENT, JAMIE MACKINNON who all finished the marathon raising over £14,000 for SPLIT. Thank you so much to them and to everyone who sponsored them, this will make a huge difference for the charity and the grants we are able to provide to families.
FUNDRAISING IN 2026
SPLIT trustee Indra Van Mourik will walk a one day 50km ultra challange on 20 June 2026 from Scarborough to Whitby along the North Yorskire Coast Path.
